Call me crazy, but...

We've introduced The Potty. I read some stuff about starting potty training around 9 or 10 months. Not really training, but introducing and letting them sit on and explore and all that. So after we got home from NJ we decided to try it (basically using the Baby Whisperer's suggestions). And I wasn't going to tell anyone because really it is crazy. I mean she can't even walk yet. But every morning I sit her on the potty for about 5 minutes. She's peed three times now! And just tonight I saw her starting to make her poopy face so I grabbed her and put her on the potty and she pooped in the potty! She was so proud of herself... and although I know we're not going to be "trained" for a while it's still SO fun, and I just had to share.

I know bathroom info is just so what you wanted to read about tonight.

Haha I was wondering if you were going to put this on here! Go Olivia! Who knows? Maybe by the time she learns to walk she can walk herself right into the bathroom.

Wow that's actually REALLY impressive! I think that's a huge head start...if she's already gone in the potty 4 times before she can walk, I wouldn't be surprised if she's trained well before her 2nd birthday!

Ooh that is a good idea to start before she can walk... hmm my ten month old just took her first step today... maybe I can introduce the potty to her too??? My goal is to only have one in diapers by this time next year... currently I have 2.5 (my 3 year old just regressed cause we had my friends 4 kids (who are mean as all get out) staying with us for 3 weeks... she refused to go potty after the first time she got hit., but I think it will only be about a week now that they are gone before she is back to big girl panties. Then I have a 20 month old boy and a 10 month old girl and a boy due in April so I will be back to 3 in diapers and about $30 a week ugh! Great idea... I'm totally going to copy you!
